![]() Day 749 - May 11, 2009 Wind E, 15 knots, Course SW, Speed 4 knots, Position 16*52s by 25*55w Oceanic Heart My chart is well used, out all the time and dirty, but it looks like... By the grace of God, we have been able to create a Heart on the Ocean. We almost completed the heart on Mother's Day! The winds and currents that so usually push us this way and that way allowed us to create a virtual, spiritual monument, the Taj Mahal of the Sea for my sweetheart Soanya. This gesture is also for everybody in the world who wants to pass through this love window on the edge of the horizon in the center of the sea. It is not a boundary marker, but a symbol of love and life without end. Those who know love know we created it together. It's impossible for me to do it alone! It is our way of demonstrating our love of God and showing that it is possible to shape a better world through love. Here in the love realm we extend ourselves creating through action, building our love and helping others do the same. This Oceanic Heart is how we leave something beautiful behind. Life cannot be lived too lovingly! Last night I stood in the galley cooking dinner imagining from above where the schooner is sailing on the Heart when the words to this song came to me and I sang them out loud. ."What the world needs now is love sweet love." I started to tingle all over. "That's the only thing that there's just too little of." The tingles turned to goose bumps on my fore arms and I lifted my arms to the light to see as the goose bumps grew all the way up to my shoulders. "What the world needs now is love sweet love. No, not just for some, but for everyone." I kept singing out of tune and my voice cracked, but I could feel love flowing from our hearts out to the world. |
